Medical Council of India has recommended additional syllabus for the first year MBBS students. The recommendation is mandatory for all the universities. The new scheme covers the Molecular Biology and Immunology. The syllabi and pattern of examination has been made same for all undergraduate MBBS students. The new syllabus and examination pattern are accepted by the universities. At the same time there is reduced duration for teaching and learning the subject. This calls for a Quick review book on the subject to enable the students to learn and retain the basics. Most of the information is given in tabular form, figures and in easy language. Clinical aspect of the subject is included adequately. Certain key words are provided to recall the subject matter. The book is quite handy for viva and for theory examinations.
